Our Facility
Founded in 1995, Calyx began with the assistance and guidance of temperature scientists at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, MD. From a small basement lab/office, we began calibrating digital and liquid-in-glass thermometers used by clinical laboratories throughout the U.S. and Canada. In 2004, our roots were fertilized when we were accepted into the business incubator of Innovation Park at Penn State University in State College, PA. Today, we continue to strategically grow within a 3,000-square-foot laboratory/office space near the Penn State campus.

CML has matured into being the trusted provider of choice for future-focused HTM departments. We work with over half of the hospitals on the 2019 Forbes list of 100 best hospitals throughout the Mid-Atlantic states, Ohio Valley and New England. Our clients tend to be trusting, forward-thinking professionals who think long term.
